DNA Test Could Resolve Coleman Case

GETTING TO THE truth in criminal cases is basic to the pursuit of justice. Neglecting the opportunity to implicate, or exonerate, should never be an option--even if the subject has already been executed.

Thanks to a long-awaited order by Gov. Mark Warner, DNA evidence recovered in the rape and slaying of Wanda McCoy in 1981 may determine whether the man convicted and electrocuted in the case was actually guilty.

Roger Keith Coleman was put to death in 1992...
